Help Winamp Shoutcast Not loading

I wanted to use shoutcast in the car and I love winamp. However, all shoutcast stations do not work. I open a station and it trys to load but just goes back to the station list and no sound is played. Can someone try shoutcasts with winamp to see if it is more than just me?

Winamp acknowledges the Shoutcast shortcomings for the DX2 and it's dual-core processor. For the time being you'll have to revert back a version or two. Here's the link for version 1.03.

This version of course has none of the added Shoutcast stations of 1.1 but it works nonetheless. Hope this helps.

Thank you, I couldn't find any specific info anywhere. Why does the newest version not support dual core but 1.03 does?

The lead developer for Winamp said the new 1.1 came out just before the release of the DX2. In his reply to me:

The CPU architecture for the X2 is significantly different (mainly from being dual-core), and there a few places in the code that could potential not work with two cores. We just ordered one of these phones here at the office so hopefully it should be worked out soon. Sorry about the problems.

Haven't heard from him since.......lol.

I hope they get it cleared up. I don't like having the dual core because it screws up a lot of apps. However it is super fast...lol.
