Root Wiped ext. Partition?

kanay2000

Newbie
Many sense ROMS require you to have "Wiped ext2, 3 or 4 partition (for APP2SD)". So my question is, how do you go about wiping your SD Card's partition?

Also, some roms say "Dalvik-Cache moved on the first boot on the SD-Ext". How do I do this? And do I do it straight after I flash my new rom or after I reboot it?

Many Thanks In Advance :)

wiping your SD Card's partition
When you wipe data it also wipes any ext partitions found on the sdcard.

Dalvik-Cache
I can tell you how oxygen ROM handles it. The ROM has inbuilt a2sd+ support out of box but no dalvik to sd. So after installing ROM whenever you want you can flash the dalvik to sd zip from recovery which then relocates the dalvik to sd upon reboot.

Yes you need to flash the zip which I think may be ROM specific. The oxygen specific link.
