Help Wiping a Broken Phone

My wife dropped her phone and cracked the screen. I bought a new screen and attempted to fix it however ended up making it much worse. The phone powers on and the screen is back-lit but I get nothing on the screen. I decided to just buy her a new phone.

I would like to sell the old phone for parts but need to wipe the data first. Since I obviously can't do it the normal way, my question is if I delete the microSD card will there still be personal information left on the phone? Any ideas on how to wipe a phone with a non-working screen?

I think you can do it through adb. But it doesn't sound like you have many parts to sell.

Wouldn't be a good idea if you want to sell parts, but a microwave will wipe the phone permanently.
