Root Wiping Battery Stats - Useless?

I saw that. Interesting and would save me allot of time I know. I wonder why it took so long to put this information out?

I was wondering the same thing especially since forums are RIPE with instructions to do this when switching ROM's.

The one thing I guess I find the most interesting is that a dev or any other of the 1,000,000 other people who live this stuff and inhale and exhale Android (and are also the same number of times smarter and more committed than me) took this as Gospel and necessity. I'm actually waiting for someone to counter her argument and/or position on this.
