Root wiping instructions?

can anybody confirm these instructions?
I found these on "ROOTING For Dummies Guide.....the Gingerbread Edition"
Under "flashing" section:
1.first you need the vr superwipe: ZZZVR_SUPERWIPE.zip. download it and put it on your card. (optional)*
2.download the rom of your choice and transfer it to your card.
3.go into recovery
4.make a nandroid backup
5.wipe dalvik cache, cache, and data
6.select install (or flash depending on which recovery you have) zip from sdcard
7.find the superwipe file and flash it.(optional)
8.find your rom and flash it.
9.reboot.

Question is: Is that in the right order as far as 1.dalvik, 2.cache and 3.data and then 4.flash superwipe, 5.then rom of your choice. is that all you need? shouldnt you wipe everything else on that screen including the very first option? "WIPE ALL USERDATA/FACTORY RESET" ? thanks everyone!

Ive never done a factory reset I always followed the instructions there and never had a problem. I do wipe each 3 times and flash supperwipe 3 times. I do know that some of the devs recomend to foctory reset but I havent don that .

Always do a nandroid backup so if you do run into a problem u can always restore back to a working rom and make sure to back up wimx keys. Also keep a copy somewhere else besides your phone.

yeah i only wipe dalvik cache, cache and data plus the superwipe and have never had any issues as well. but wipe the others except for sd card should be ok. if you are gonna wipe something else i would wipe system as well. but the superwipe does that for you, so that is up to you.
