Help Wired connection. Samsung Tab4

Hi all,

My first post on these forums so i hope to capitalise on the knowledge.

Firstly im not even sure my questions is possible, but im hoping you guys can advise.

- It is regarding a Samsung Tab 4 10.1.

I would like to be able to stream TV on my tablet at work, while i work. Unfortunately i am out of range of the work Wi-Fi and cannot hold a stable connection.
The computer has alot of 'Admin' protection so installing software is a no go.
I have access to a wired internet port which i can connect a cable to.

Is it possible to connect the tablet to a wired connection, either directly to the port (will i need a password?) or via my actual PC (piggyback) -. perhaps something that plugs into my computers USB slot that i can connect the tablet to.

Any thoughts?

My feeling is no, android can't use ethernet but I could (hopefully) be wrong. As for tethering to the pc, that I'm not sure about, ive never heard of it done and don't know much (anything) about PCs lol
