Wired headset compatibility

[pctom]

I'm looking a decent wired headset with the in-ear earbuds.

I like the skullcandy stuff but I didn't know theirs is compatible with the Sprint HTC Hero. I'm specifically looking at the skullcandy full metal jacket.

Can anyone tell me if these will work? Thanks!

Tom

Yes, they do. I have a pair.

I'm super tempted to get those exact pair as well. I do wish they'd make Titans with an in-line mic though, I've had both full metal and titans, and the titans are just better I feel all around.

Do they have a microphone and can you actually use it?

I have a pair of Sony in-ear headphones with microphone that I got for my iPod nano on my birthday, 3 months before getting my Hero and the sound is amazing even on the Hero, but the mic doesn't work on my phone even though my phone does recognize the mic...
