Root Wired Tether

I'm trying to use google wired tether but it won't work on my X2

Used to work flawlessly on my Rooted HTC eris that I previously had. Anyone have a solution?

I have installed and used EasyTether on many devices. I would definitely recommend that to anyone. It tethers your internet to your PC through USB, NO ROOT required. Here's a guide on setting that up: Tether Android No Root

The wired tether I posted above doesn't require files to be installed on the PC. That is why I liked it better.

I have used this app, and I must agree with prj, it is by far the easiest and most reliable.

i hope everyone is trying this with a plan already setup through verizon to tether legally
