Why would you "upgrade" from LG Connect 4G to LG Motion 4G? ICS?

Ics one could be one reason. Or the s4 processor in the the motion vs the s3 in the connect. The motion out of the box is benchmarking close to what the connect does over clocked to 1.8ghz.
In some ways its an upgrade and in some ways it's a down grade. The connects nova display is an obvious winner along with a couple small points of interest.
I own a Connect. It didn't stop me from ordering a motion. Then again I'm addicted to buying devices

I just read at phonescoop the new ZTE will also have a s4 in it.just something to consider for those wanting to upgrade because of it.the way I see it even if I decide to upgrade from the motion in a couple months or so I will barely lose any money when I sell it.
man.... i was trying to score two for me and my best friend but their out i found out about this deal from this topic earlier today and i kept the page open only to find out when i came back from the guys house they were out. and the page seems to be taken down. X_X i hope that changes

I have purchased with no real issues so yes they are trustworthy. How to activate just *228 and then call to confirm or just call Metro to activate.
You are correct about your original research but your EDIT part was unnecessary because even if you are correct then you could probably move your number.

Looks like it is a third generation Snapdragon, not an S4 like in the Motion. Still a nice phone but it'll trade proc and ram for screen size. That is the compromise between the two phones to put them in a similar price range.

I think Esteem better, than Connect, and in turn Motion better than them....its larger storage and ics is very necessary for those of us with a lot apps, multitasking...
if i need larger screen(Motion's ONLY achilles heel), i can hdmi at both work and home in a stationary setting...i doubt i will be doing anything which would require a larger screen while on the road(standing, moving).
This phone will be the perfect holdover until the better models(maybe even a tablet) come along, especially since planning to bypass the s3's prohibitive price(would much rather buy several phones and tablets for the price of one s3).:smokingsomb:

The first 2 articles were saying it was going to have a 1.5 s4.they weren't even close lol.
Guess I will be sticking with the motion for a while.

Did you pay for 2 day delivery? If you took their free shipping option its insanely slow because they use FedEx 'smart post'.

Same thing with me! i tried canceling it once I read it will be shipped through fedex smartpost but it had been marked as ready to ship in less than an hour ugh...mines was picked up the same date but is estimated for the 5th....
i have another motion here i bought from amazon with prime shipping but i rather save the 50 and return it

BTW.. Fedex smart post isn't actually delivered by Fedex. Fedex picks the package up. Brings it to your usps office, and they actually deliver it to you. I made the mistake of using Wirefly's free shipping before, now I pay the extra 7.99 for 2 day

I fell for the 2-3 day shipping thing too.I would of never thought to check their shipping faq before I ordered.mine is scheduled for Saturday.if I knew It was going to take so long I would of paid.
Just checked mine again and its only around 30 miles away.if my local post office gets it tomorrow which they should I'm going to see if I can just pick it up there.they owe me at least that for messing up 2 deliveries last month.

Fedex smart post will often pass your post office to go to what is called a smart post "hub". Then they will ship it to usps (usually the day after it arrived at the hub).
There's a chance it will make it to you by Friday, but I doubt it. I never understood why they would pass your house, and even city up, just to backtrack it to your usps location. Fedex smart post is NOT "smart" at all. Should be called dumb post zzz.

I had packages delivered early from smart post already.they just give a estimate on the delivery date.I know I have no chance of having it delivered tomorrow but sometime tomorrow it will be at the post office.
I just noticed they changed the estimate delivery from Saturday to Friday

Yeah, it probably will be there. I've had a few packages through smart post too. I think, if I recall correctly, that they came on the exact date scheduled every time, never early. I even recall reading something about the packages being deliberately held by smart post, to ensure it wasn't delivered early.
I dont know how much truth there is to that, doesn't make a lot of sense to me personally, but I could see there being some truth to that by my past experiences. I hope you get your phone soon bro. Its pretty damn sweet.

just read my 3 favorite words [out for delivery].the funny thing is at first the tracking said arrived at your local post office and allow for 1 or 2 additional days for delivery.so i called to just pick it up and she couldnt find it and said its probably being delivered today.i checked the tracking again and she was right.

At First the status seems ok but then no status for hours aargg:dontknow::banghead:
Every one take a deep breath and close the Fed-ex page and just forget about it until at least 7 day after your order date. If you get it earlier then hip hip hurray.
If you don't receive by 7th day then refresh that Fed-ex page like no tomorrow.lol
