Wirefly or MetroPCS.com?

Where should I buy the phone? Does Wirefly offer a warranty? If so, can I use it at a METROPCS store if my phone is a 'lemon'?

they do but why would you buy it warranty through wirefly, rather then just paying the 5 bucks a month. and just be over and done with rather then paying 50 bucks while paying a cheap price for the phone. it makes it almost the same amount as what metro themselfs want for the phone. my advice is to buy the phone via wirefly and then when the phone comes in just add warranty.

i brought my phone via wirefly i'm mostly happy with their serivce i just hate how long my phone is taking to get here. basicly i brought mines on the first, paid for 2day air and well it's the fourth going on the fivth of the month and it's still not here. so my advice don't do 2day air for the 8 bucks more it's a complete rip off since my stuff isn't here. Y_Y the prices at wirefly you can't beat just becareful and be aware on how you're spending cash. that's all i can say really. ^_^

Hi guy,

I was wondering if I buy an Esteem from Wirefly would I be able to activate it with insurance? I am going to add it as a second line. Can I do it online? Or can I go to the store? Will there be any issues if I go to the store? It is VERY important that this phone is insured when I purchase it. ( I don't want to wait for the rebate metro has atm.

i do believe wirefly does not give out warranties on the phone , it's your service provider that does.

Wirefly does offer insurance. About the same price as Metro's BUT and a big BUT Wirefly's insurance has no deducible!

Heres their rates
$4.99 - Silver Device Protection - billed monthly
$49.99 - Silver Device Protection - billed annually

And you get this is you add one to your cart then view it in the cart:

You have not selected Device Protection Service for this phone.
Yes, Please add this service for $4.99 per month with NO deductible

if i can get metro insurance? Can I do it online and add it to another line? Or do i have to go to the store to handle the stuff?

I would totally go with WireFly's insurance. With metro you are going to end up paying a deducible for a replacement. With Wirefly you pay nothing for a replacement.

ah, i really didn't know that. the last time i lost my phone i just had to pay a tiny fee and they replaced it over night. but if this is better hmm i may take another look the next time i buy a phone.
