That's ******ed... Oh well. As long as wirefly gives me the phone, battery, charger, and hopefully a screen protector, I'll be fine. Even if they don't give me a screen protector I can cut one out from my parents iPad protectors.

Well, with gorilla glass, a screen protector isn't really needed. Just invest in a decent case and you should be good.

I looked into T Mobile with wirefly because I was sick of the Optimus M and did not trust LG to upgrade to Esteem. When I went to the shop, they offered me a completely different deal that looked much worse. Then, I added up all the costs and looked at these for the two-year contract period.

While wirefly seemed to save tons, when I looked at the total two-year costs of both programs, I learned that wirefly was more expensive than buying from T-mobile. They charged higher rates for service and the difference was over 600 dollars for the same package! I suggest you do your math before you buy.

What you said is true but does not apply to Metropcs because we don't have any plan. Buying from Wirefly is 200 times better than from Metro just getting the phone for $249 without paying taxes and not having to file the mail in rebate worth it. I bought mine from Wirefly on Sunday and had it on Wenesday.

Yeah but some people dont want to pay 349.99 and wait weeks or months to get back the 100 dollars so why not just pay 249.99 up front. Also the hassle of checking up on your rebate is ridiculous..Me personally I think the whole rebate thing is a scam.
So many people complaining about not getting their 100 dollars quick enough or the processing company asking for additional documentation.

Wait, you're saying LG gave pre-paid customers the luxury of a high-end android LTE smartphone WITH gorilla glass for the screen as default!? ......that sounds way too good to be true.... then again I guess the random reboot issue they kept from the optimus m would be the price to pay?

Yeah, it has gorilla glass, and I have never had a problem with either phone so you might be pleasantly surprised...or not. lol

I did not consider tax when I did my calculations. The difference may be less than 600 dollars, but I assure you the phone was not expensive enough to warrant more than 600 in taxes. Thank you for for sharing and good job finding this deal.

I was not aware of that either. If they delay beyond their expressed policies on when they will disperse the rebate -- or they hassle you for documentation that was not originally necessary -- then we have another scam. =(

I only had the reboot issue when overlooking it or a bad rom flash... apparently others complained about it.

I'm assuming you meant *overclocking but, yeah, same here. A lot of people just don't know/understand what they are doing with their phones(and, honestly, shouldn't be doing any of it in the first place) and complain about it when, really, it's something they did themselves. I'm not saying this is always the case but I've seen plenty of 'WTF!' posts and right away I could tell it wasn't the phone causing the problem but they still act like it was.

Had to order my second Esteem yesterday after first one was stolen, but wanted to mention that I found coupon code WIREFLY4G99 you can use on wirefly to get a free transcend 4gb micro sd card with the phone. I'm sure it's a mickey mouse brand but eh...better than nothing, especially for someone like me who just lost a 16gb card

Lol yes I did mean that and saw the same things. I blame LG for the crappy processors and difference and that's it. The reboots can be controlled

@MetroPOS.... make sure you install lookout or some other kind of tracking software incase your phone gets stolen!

Hey don't forget you can push a lost phone app to your phone wirelessly with android market. I put a location app on all my phones.

Hope it doesn't happen again.
