Help Wireless charging

I'm looking forward to having some sort of system in my car where I just put my phone on it and it's held up/mounted by the magnet that holds the phone on the wireless charger. Hopefully they make them with powerful enough magnets.

What's that charging mat made of? Is cat hair an impedance? We live in a dry climate made worse by forced hot air heating in the winter, so static electricity is a real bugaboo.

How do they improve battery life? I finally found a review that mentioned that the battery is non-removable. What's the equivalent of a battery pull for a reset, then?

I'm interested in the battery, camera and storage. Right now I have the Nexus S and have used about 11G of the storage. The speed would be nice if it's fast. By the time Audubon Birds loads, the bird has flown. I'd like to speed this up.

I'm with TMO, don't care about network speed as I don't game, do social networking or movies. If I want info though, I usually want it fairly fast. I do have a data plan.

Yeah how I mount my phone in the car is a BFD for me since I love to have the screen on showing album art from whatever music I'm playing all the time.
