Wireless charging?

the link bought up the home page as oppose to a product for me

But you will need something to allow the note 3 to receive a wireless charge (either a new back case or a 'chip' insert) and a qi compliant wireless charging pad

I'm new to wireless charging and new to my N9007. Where would that chip go ? Or, do I need to replace the back cover altogether ? The battery has some inscription about NFC but I guess that's unrelated. There are also some electrical pins standing out near the battery, where presumably things can get attached.

Would any of these additions make my phone heavier or bulkier ?

I bought the samsung setup and returned it after about a week.

Your phone is basically unusable when charging wireless. Pick it up to use it and you're not getting charged. I'll stick to the wire

Really? Mine is fully functional, calls, text, email, speaker phone, it all works with mine. I purchased the samsung wireless charging back and the charging pad. Works great for me, and charging time is the same as that being direct connect.

Ditto^^

The official wireless charging back looks identical and adds approx 0.5mm to the thickness of my Note 3. Charges well, albeit more slowly than the USB. I can do anything (yes even the S-pen works, despite the warning) I normally can while it's wirelessly charging, except pick it up !

+3

I have a Qi charger sitting on my desk at work and use a Bamboo wacom stylus to interact with it, no problem. And, have my daily driver MW1 bluetooth connected, so I don't have to pick the phone up to take calls.

Wireless charging is such a convenient thing to have, as compared to plugging in.
