Wireless Charging

Just received my shiny new LG G3
I have Googled for Wireless stickers and it seems to be based on it having 4 pins

I notice my back case has 4 pins, where as others seem to have 2.
Does it mean it has wireless built in?

It certainly looks that way. If your in the UK then the G3 has a wireless reciever built, in the US it does not. I'm in the UK and have the functionality built in. If you order a QI charger I recommend one with 3 charging coils built in which makes it stronger and has a larger area to charge, the cheaper ones are hit and miss. I've just ordered one today.

I originally bought a cheap one from eBay but was not happy with it, it kept connecting and disconnecting and saying it was charging slowly. I got a refund for that one. I ordered a better quality one today from Amazon which has 3 coils built in and will hopefully perform better. This is the one...

thank you. Will have a look. I ordered a cheap one for my old Nexus 4, but as you can imagine, it doesn't work! Literally, it is a faulty one

I received the wireless charger this morning and can confirm it performs well. The phone can be laid in portrait or landscape without having to re-position it to make it charge like the cheap ones. It charges at a good rate also. Very happy with it.

Does anyone know if the official LG Wireless Dock (wcd-100) has 3 coils?
I have noticed with cheaper, single coil chargers that the phone is very fussy about making sure it is dead centre!

I have recently converted my Verizon G3 to wireless charging & it's working awesome. I purchased a replacement battery cover with wireless charging sticker & a Nokia DT-900 wireless charger. The battery cover even has the Verizon logo on it like the factory one. Currently waiting on my second DT-900 to show up.
