Wireless hotspot APK for tethering?

Does anyone remember the wireless hotspot app that came with Gingerbread which you could use for tethering?

Does anyone know where I could find it at all cos that seems such an easy app to use!

Or if not, can anyone suggest wireless hotspot app for tethering my rooted s2?

+1 for this question. I've tried Easy Tether and Wireless Tether and neither actually worked. I rarely need the feature but it's something I haven't had working right since I had an iphone.
