Help Wireless issue

I've had the captivate for some time and the wireless has worked great and connects to wireless routers easily. My problem is when I have a wireless signal but not antenna signal (like in a building or a basement), I can't connect to the internet even if the wireless signal is strong. Same thing if I put the phone in flight mode. My wireless signal shows as strong but I can't do anything. Any suggestions?

Flight mode disable all kind of signals including wifi....Dunno about the signal showing but not working...

try rebooting ur phone....works sometimes...go to recovery mode and do reboot now..
