Wireless N / Froyo

Anybody running a Froyo mod on the Desire, does Wireless N work?

I'm not fussed about the speed increase but it would be nice to be able to use my phone in the garden with the extra range

I dont think the Desire supports 'N', the hardware isnt capable as far as I know.

The desire froyo roms all seem to have working 'N' wireless.

there is no major hardware difference from g to n, the proper n implementation of wi-fi and mimo tech is only done within routers/pc/other where mimo can be implemented physical. On something as compact as a cellphone implementing mimo physically is difficult.

supposedly the modaco rom I'm running has the wireless N hack - Id say I got a very slight range boost but certainly nothing to write home about. Havent tested it properly but I can use it in my bathroom before where I couldnt previously
