Root wireless n support?

hi i have a cisco e1200 router and i heard that to increase speed i must disable the WNN, my problem is when i do that all my devices connect fine except for my phone
doing some research i found this is caused by wireless n support

so does our phone support that or is there another way to fix my problem?
 
I have an issue with wireless-n on my dlink router.. Its just the phone. I've looked into it in the past, but theres not much you can do about it. I've flashed ROMs Radios etc. And nothing has worked. The issue with my phone is that it would connected but after about 10 mins it would crash the router. It works with everyone elses phones in the house (they have verizon and not this phone) and all other devices work. So basically your kinda stuck with what you've got! Sorry bud.

aw well that sucks so its probley not supported by our phones the problem you have is slightly diffrent from mine though i get a authentication problem so it dosnt connect at all but thanks for the info its helpful
 
I'll go ahead and assume it's a problem with your router.

I have mine on N all day at home, 0 issues.

I think that router is pretty low end. I'm using a WNR3500L running tomato.
 
Agreed with above post, I had a similar problem with a low end linksys and for some reason it would run fine for other wireless devices but the phone set it over the edge and it would shut down the wireless signal. Hesitantly went out and bought a higher end router to see if it made a difference and it got rid of the problem for me. Have not had any issues since, worth spending a little extra if you (like most of us) have multiple devices running wirelessly all the time.
 
And to be answer the question this phone does support wireless n at 150 MBPS single channel speed.
