I'm using Pdanet to connect my computer to the internet through the TB. My question is, if anyone knows how/or if you can connect the TB to a wireless router through the USB port so more than one computer at a time can connect to the internet without having to pay for the hot spot?

You need a pc server to do that. Once the Thunderbolt is connected to the pc it would be a matter of pc side software. All clients would access the pc server through the router. Not sure that would save money though.
