I've been thinking about that. If we turn it on, does AT&T know we are tethering, and will they charge us?
I didn't use the Wifi hotspot on my old Evo very often. It's just handy to have.
I don't think it would work even if you turned it on if you haven't paid for the service.

Sprint's GN2 does not have it.
That's crazy. So when you go into settings --> More settings, you do not have "Tethering and portable hotspot"? If not you can always use FoxFi but keep in mind if you do not have a tethering plan, they may automatically change your data plan to one that allows tethering and charge you for it without warning.That's crazy.
