Root Wireless tether doesn't work anymore

Nvm..still doesn't work it turns out. worked once then stopped.

so i had it working fine before i upgraded to kingdom,now it says it starts without errors,is visible in network list, but pc cant connect. this is whats been working before:

generic ics
mss clamping on
routing fix on

everything else default.

when i take off claming and routing fix it still loads without any errors, before i upgraded it would say wifi driver couldnt load.

any ideas what i can do to try to fix this? i'm using beta 14 and tried reinstalling app and config and binaries already.

refer to this thread http://androidforums.com/evo-design...ng-trouble-wi-fi-tether-boost-mobile-fix.html look at the first post and try using the dns fix i could never get the tether to work but now when i used this fix it works perfectly fine, its just a little slow but thats because of the network you should have a dns similar to this one.

Just tried that, still doesn't work. PC says there is limited connection/no internet.

anything else i can try to do?

i did update superuser binary,it's on version 3.1 now. could that be the issue?

no, i never did that update.

It works sporadically, but most of the time doesnt. Really weird. i'll try messing around with superuser binary, see if that helps.

hmmm if that one doesn't work you might try Barnacle -- it's a tethering app i used to use on my old phone that worked pretty well, though it only works in ad-hoc mode.

now it seems like it works fine with the market apk...worked every time of me trying it throughout most of the day. damn thing has a mind of its own lol

i did replace superuser with supersu yesterday.but tether still didn't work immediately after that,so dont think that could have been it...
