Hint... its the sprint hotspot thats already pre-installed. Its been hacked so that it works for free

I never used the sprint hotspot.. does it show transfer rates and data used in a session?

No... but it works and its free.

The other tether apps are available if you search around. You wont find them on the android market for obvious reasons (sprint only allows you to view what it wants you to).

I never knew i could use the normal hotspot from phone, i had downloaded the wifi tethering for root user after searching it on google. Good to know.

If you want to check your data usage login to your sprint account it's all there hope that helps

Also, Sprints still unlimited data, so I'm not sure why you would need to check it unless your flashed to another carrier
