Root Wireless tether not working

guys

I rooted my phone successfully using the 1 click root app

After installing wireless tether, it allowed me to tether and choose ssid, etc. However, the ssid doesn't show up on my laptop. Is it supposed to be discoverable or not? I even manually set it on the laptop but it doesn't see it. Everytion and other unncessary settings are off too

Any ideas?

i have gotten the wireless tether to work just 1 time, and havent since, its an ad-hoc connection

Anybody else? The only reason I rooted my phone was to get this app working

I have no problems with mine working. I have had problems when I try and Enable the Access-Control. If you have this Enabled, try and disable it and see if it will work. I was using mine just a little bit ago with no problems.
