Wireless Tether Password

Hi guys, I m new to this android thing so bear with me. I hava an EVO and it is tooted. I got Android Wireless Tether app so i can use the internet on my laptop. However, I can't find a way to put a password on it. Right now whenever I start tethering , other people can steal my internet. I don't mind sharing but I m afraid this will make my internet run slower.
So, guys how do I put a password on it?

Open Wireless Tether. Go into menu>settings>change passphrase. You got it!
