I tried it one day from my vehicle to a friends vehicle (about 15') and he said he had full signal, so at least 15'. Haven't tried it any further than that.

I'd say good up to 30'-50' or so, with no walls in between. Its not nearly as powerful as a router transmitter, so be mindful of that.
