Root Wireless Tethering after root?

Hey peeps. I have not yet rooted my phone, because I am not sure how I will get wireless tethering. But once I do root my phone, how can I get wireless tethering? Also, any specific ROMS that specify with better battery life and wireless tethering?

If you need to tether via your phone you should contact Verizon to have the mobile hot spot feature added to your plan. Tethering your phone (rooted or not) is against the terms of service. I still would encourage you to root to try out roms as well as being able to take more control over the UI of the phone itself
