I had been using a droid x for several months with 2.2. The device was rooted and I had successfully used wireless tethering for quite a while. I have recently upgraded to the DROID X2 and at this point have been unsuccessful with the wireless tethering feature, I have only had partial luck using Barnacle and that was after selecting Skip wpa_supplicant.....ANY IDEAS APPRECIATED.
BTW Ive heard rumors about VZW inhibiting rooted devices from using tethering applications....
