Root Wirless tether stopped working after custom rom

Wireless tether worked perfectly before installing custom rom. I still have android.tether folder on sd card with fw bcm4329 but cant get wireless tethering to work again. can revert to stock nandroid backup and wireless tether works fine please help me out?????

uninstall wireless tether and re-install from the market if you haven't already

I cant it came with the rom so its a system app
