Some things I wish I could change...

1. shrink icons or change spacing (cannot believe that there are NO adjustments for the home screens)

2. adding more screens (3 is lame, yes I have tried PandaHome, OpenHome, ahome, etc. But I dont want to REPLACE the native home, just add some screens to it.)

3. Sirius (wishful thinking I know, but I miss Stern and Fantasy Football!)

4. Slingbox (not looking good, dont understand why)

5. Backlight of the keyboard (I want to be able to adjust it, turns off too fast)

6. backlight of 4 softtouch buttons (see above)

or maybe there are some apps that can do some of these....

I wish you didn't have to jump through hoops to play a simple video sent in mms. I finally got the video (through email) but it won't play the sound. It shouldn't be this difficult.

hmm what app are you using? I just click on MMS vids send thru a text message...

I'm using handcent. My daughter sent me a video and it said it was downloading but didn't show up in the gallery. I had her send it in email and I now have it on the phone. The video plays but the audio does not. It plays just fine on my computer. (It uses quicktime on the computer. Daughter has a Samsung Rogue.)

I cant speak specifically to handcent. I just installed it tonight myself. I am having issues with it and its notifications. Not saying it's related, but I know they are actively working on the app daily to work through bugs. Your issue could be another

That's only part of it. I did save the video from an email so that is totally unrelated to handcent. I can watch the video but no audio. It just seems like this should be a simple "click play" and it works. There should be no need to download or install anything. It's not that big a deal. I can watch and listen on my computer but it is a limitation of the phone.

everything you said- except personally i dont have a slingbox so i dont need that app.

In it's place I'd add to get us a REAL exchange activesync client. Unlimited days of mail download (eg turn on the option for "ALL", option to pick push for certain sub-folders, ability to move emails, sync tasks (guess we'd need a task app for that), etc. It's tough to use the droid for business use with those limits and I'd rather not have to use touchdown (which IS GREAT) and have a pile of non-native data flying around so i have 2 sets of contact data, yet another calendar, etc.

Actually, why can't we get google and our other accounts merged up for calendars and email like we can for contacts????
