What have you used to try and play .wmv vids?

I think MX Player can run them... not 100% on that, though.
If you absolute need to convert them in your pc -- i suggest DVD-Catalyst... great program, very robust & converts dozens of formats. DVD Catalyst - additionally, the dev is super-active on Xoomforums.com
