I keep getting a message that comes in as a spoofed text, it points to a link saying I've won a free ipad2. This seems legit. Ok not really but I don't know how it started hitting my phone or how to get rid of it, I suspect it came in on an app update.

Decided to through my apps and read recent reviews in market and it appears an app I recently updated called My Settings may be the culprit.

I getting the same message on my phone, it come up with a little green plus sign on the top on the phone, and then you tap it and it shows you have won an ipad 2, I have had a look thru my downloaded apps i dont have one called my settings, so might have to get rid off all that I have installed recently.

This app by Lookout should tell you what app is putting that ad on your phone. (No guarantees, but that's what it is supposed to do )
