Won a Nexus 7 from KitKat

Just for anyone who is skeptical about corporate contests, which I definitely have been in the past, I actually bought a KitKat a few weeks ago and won a Nexus 7 tablet. It arrived today.

Although somewhat ironic, but not unexpected, it did not come with Android 4.4 KitKat. Guess I'll have to wait for the OTA update like everyone else. Glad my Nexus 5 has a big brother though. :-)

Congrats! :) I managed to win $5 worth of Google Play credits like many, but was never that lucky. I hope you enjoy yours :thumbup:
 
Upon looking at the note sent, I noticed that it says the ARV is 199.99, but yet Google is selling them for 229.99 :eek:

I know right?! I panicked when I saw that as well. I thought maybe they tried to cheat me by sending me a Nexus 7 (2012) model. I actually Google'd the difference between the two in order to compare. The original notification that I received when I entered the code in had the correct ARV. I was also surprised to get it so quickly because they told me it'd take 6-8 weeks.

I have only seen the Kit Kats in the store once. I bought one and won the $5.00 credit from the Play Store and haven't seen one of those Kit Kats since. Congrats to the OP!
 
That's awesome like everybody says. I haven't seen a Google Nexus KitKat package yet. Dang, you're lucky!!!!
