Wonder when root is coming?

Verizon is the last phone standing that doesn't have root access yet. AT&T has achieved root, and while the Knox counter isn't expected to trip, there's not an assurance of it. It's very early in the process... so I expect a stable root method for AT&T shortly.

Since AT&T's bootloader was also encrypted, it's only a matter of days IMO before we see successful root for Verizon :)

Hit the nail on the head. +1

Did you try looking at the bottom of the screen on the main page?

I rooted my phone the day I got it last week.

Looked at the top, bottom, and in the middle...I did not see and do not see a root section. We use to have all the root stuff at the very top and then for some reason they got moved to the bottom. But I do not see anything root in here. And I am talking Verizon here :)

Hopefully soon, brutha.

Goodnight, how many f'n apps did Verizon and Samsung put on our device!?!?

What are the benefits to rooting your phone? I always thought it was just for people with eye patches and pegged legs

Hiya Chief!

I still haven't gotten my Note3 yet but I plan to next month. Gotta wait on those funds. Hope to have it by the 15th and in the meantime I can sit here and read all about y'alls adventures in unlocking and rooting yours.
