Root Wont boot, and wont flash

Hi

I have a HTC Desire, and it was successfully rooted.
I did have some problems, but they were solved by helpful people here on the forums.

Anyways, today I decided to try to run a AOSP Android.
So what I did was I downloaded CronMod-bravo/bravoc and put it on my SDCARD.

I then started the phone, holding power and volume down, and entered the hboot, here I went for recovery. (Here I got the recovery for RA-desire-v2.0.1).
I then selected Wipe data. (according to the guide, I should here choose Factory reset, but since this was not an option, I choose Wipe ALL userdata)
I then went for install ip from SD card, and installed the system. During the installation, I was asked a couple of times, if I wanted to install a couple of "things". for example "Swap partition", I choose yes, but below was a error saying
E:Missing bitmap progress_empty (Code -1)
E:Missing bitmap progress_fill (Code -1)
choice: error fixed, please ignore
I decided to follow the last line, and just ignore it.
After the installation had finished, it said "install from sdcard complete"
After that, i did a reboot, but when the phone tried to boot, it never got passed the HTC logo. (according to the guide this could take about 10 min. I waited over 20 mins).
I then disconnected the battery, and tried booting again, but the same thing happened. (only gets to the HTC logo).
I then decided to just try to use some other rom, as this one could be damaged. So I downloaded OxyzM1.2.zip, and tried installing it, but got this error:
install from sdcard...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:Wrong digest:
system/media/audio/ringtones/ArgoNavis.ogg
e:Verification failed
Installation aborted.
Same things happen if I first try to wipe the sdcard.

I was planning to try using unrevoked or Revolutionary again, but both guides to it, seem to need to have contact to a already running Android.
So what is my next attempt ?

I don't know Amon Ra menus, but there should be an option to toggle signature verification on/off in there somewhere. Try that and see if you can flash the ROM then.

I've never heard of this CronMod bravo/bravoc. Very odd if it's asking about swap partitions though. Think I'd just avoid.

As long as you have a custom recovery this is fixable.
