Help won't completely boot

I went into a doc appt and when I came out my phone was off. I turned it on, it boots up, does the little BOOST MOBILE screen, then stuck on a flashin SAMSUNG and wont go any farther.... I keep hearing about this Odin thing but I have no clue what it is or how to use it.... can someone PLEASE help me?

Do the obvious and pull the battery, put it back in, turn it on yada yada...

If that dont work then go to the "all things root" section at the top of the forum and now will be your time to read up and understand what Odin is, because honestly your going to need it at this point
