Help Wont connect to pc with usb?

Hi my mate give me his sons X10 to update as he is not very good with computers. I cant get his one to connect via usb hence unable to update or repair. Any suggestions much appreciated

When you conect to your PC with the USB, you need to PULL DOWN the MESSAGE Window (Top), select your USB and press the button that says, MOUNT. That should get you right side up..

Can't you get it into flash mode?

Have done exactly that but after about 10 seconds the connection disappears and the battery shows no longer charge? Stumped

Yes, can get it into flash mode (constant green light after back and usb insert) but nothing seams to happen after, cheers.

Is your battery fully charged?? Is your USB cable showing as MOUNTED? Are you using PC Companion and is your PC Companion software up to date?? If it is not up to date, that may be a problem..

Hi sorry for lack of info, I have re installed pc comp, charged battery (70%) and am trying "repair" in flash mode but nothing as yet ?????

Yes, can get it into flash mode (constant green light after back and usb insert) but nothing seams to happen after, cheers.

Then install SEUS, run it, connect in flash mode when prompted, continue.

You'd said it had a constant green light which would indicate it's working fine. Take the battery out for 10 seconds and try again.
