My legally blind grandmother's SGT2 is frozen and won't do anything. Unfortunately, I'm two states away, so I'm doing phone support through my Apple-carrying father (so please be patient with me).
One of her games is frozen on screen. She and my father both have tried repeatedly to turn it off (Pop said he held the power button for ~3 minutes and nothing happened). The screen will go off but it doesn't power down. Then the screen won't come back on until you plug in the charger, at which point you see the same game screen.
I'm not sure what to tell them beyond letting it sit until the battery completely dies, then completely recharging it and hoping for the best. A hard reset if the thing is still buggy.
And yes, the 4.2.2 update is installed, but this doesn't sound like the exact same "won't turn off" problem everyone else is having. And it's run reasonably well since the update - this is the first major problem.
Suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
