Help Won't stop talking!

I reset my DroidX to factory specs this weekend to get rid of Froyo (way too much memory usage from junk apps). Anyway, since doing that... my ring-tones don't work. When someone from my contacts calls... my phone actually talks "Incoming call from Mickey Mouse". UGH it's annoying! I've set a default-ring tone, then even went in and set personal ring-tones and it's still talking.

I haven't downloaded any apps that claim to do this, so not sure why it does it or how to get rid of it. One idea from a friend was Google Voice but I haven't gotten around to downloading that app either.

Any ideas?

I just checked and under accessibility, all of that is grayed out.

try Settings->Call Settings->Caller ID Readout

make sure it's unchecked

im having the same problem wit my Samsung Continuum... it keeps sayn the caller id name over and over... and the caller id readout isnt in my call settings anymore... found any solution... its irritatin...
