Won't turn on, continuous vibration

[Android Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4g and it won't turn on. All it does is vibrate continuously every 2-3 seconds when the battery is in. It will turn on until the SAMSUNG logo comes up but then it'll shut off and start vibrating again. I've tried removing the battery and reinserting it and plugging it into the charger; nothing seems to work. What can I do to turn it back on and to prevent this from happening again?

You could attempt a factory reset and see if the phone will boot after that. Note that you would lose all data.

If a factory reset doesn't do the trick, you may be able to get a hold of some factory images (which I know nothing about for Samsung) but if you go that route you'd probably want to register and get some proper help here: Blaze 4G - All Things Root - Android Forums



There's also a possibility that there is some sort of hardware failure that's preventing the phone from booting. In that case, there's not much you can do short of repair or replacement.
