Help Won't turn on?

I don't really know how else to title this.

I had issues with my phone before the update; but I've just told it to update and now.. the screen won't turn on. So.. I kind of took the battery out and turned it on.. which worked.. but the screen won't turn on.. it's making all the right sounds but no screen..

So.. What do I do??

Uhh.. It's turned on.. and say's I have Android version 2.42?!!

All good again.

i have a problem with my phone, i charged it last night and then put it under my pillow once i took it off charge... i woke up this morning and the phone will not turn on i have took out the battery/sim/sd card etc... but still nothing... the is no led indicator when charging now and i forgot to update the phone this last couple of days... please help ive had this phone about 2 weeks only!!
