well rooted my x this morning and got titanium backup free (gotta wait till next week to get paid)... so I know I gotta get root explorer and I was gonna get bootstrap.... is there anything e

Do a nandroid backup with bootstrapper. Way more important.

I am going to purchase that next week... will everyhing be alrigt till then???? not planning on installing a rom or anything till I get all the necessary paid apps

Yeah, just don't change anything that you can't change back until you make a nandroid backup. Don't flash any roms, etc. Once you have that backup, you can always go back to that stock, rooted image in case you ever need it.
