Words with Friends

I really enjoy Words with Friends on my tablet but am having some problems. Do other tablet users have these issues?

Device: Motorola XYBoard 8.2" Wi-Fi only tablet
OS: Android Honneycomb 3.2.2


Issue #1 - I'll often get notification in my notification area and there are no games in my "Your move" tab.

Issue #2 - At times I open the game, without getting notified, and there will be game(s) in "Their move" tab that are ready for me to make a move on. If I then tap on one and there are others needing me to move they pop to the "Your move" tab. If I leave the game open, without tapping, eventually games I can move on pop into Your move tab.

Issue #3 - Game needs a notification sound.

I play on the GNex and have the exact same issues you are having with Words. I don't know if your tablet has a vibrator, but on the phone, when the notification does work, it give two quick buzzes with no sound. I am also using LightFlow to control my notification LED and it works with words with friends. It gives me a nice orange pulse when it is my turn. However, like I said, only when WWF's notifications are actually working.

There is no vibration on my Xyboard so the only notification I get is in the notification area. And that is usually wrong.

On my RAZR notification vibrations stopped in early January for WWF. Otherwise, when my RAZR gets a notification on its status bar it is 100% correct.

I've reported all to Zynga. They won't even confirm others have the issue.
