this is a beta version......
how to install

STEP 1

1=download and copy to sd card
2=reboot recovery
3=take back up
4=flash file and reboot

sorry it sounds stupid but i want to know that should I partition my card for that ie for ROM nd if yes how will I bcoz recovery is in sd card then.post tell me the procedure in simple steps I m very confused for installing ROM and partitioning nd wat any abt apps in sd card.though I hv took backup of those will it b safe to partition the card directly.rply please. want to try ur ROM .have downloaded it.
 
Take backup through pc and apps by titaninum. recovery will be phone memory.....partition it to swap 32
Ext-512
After that copy everything back

Ive tried Screen of and lock.. its a widget that u must press to lock ur screen.. the power button wont work and the animation is UGLY :/ .. original GB animation looks awesome
 
hey try this and see if it works

1. Copy the files from that folder onto your sd card
2. In Root Explorer, move those files into system/media/video/shutdown on your phone (if you don't have a /video/shutdown folder set up, you can just create them.
5. This will give you the TV off effect on shutdown!

As said above, I don't think we can make it work (yet!) for just turning the screen off, but it does create a cool effect for a shutdown animation.

I would have done that, but I don't have froyo sources synched! Nor I have my PC with me, its f**ked!!:( I can't build anything without sources!:(
I believe Sam already have sources downloaded and can build with those files by doixanh for CRT, but where's he gone?? Its been a long time I saw him here.........:confused:

Also, sadly, its very difficult to port related code from some already build Rom's framework! I tried once but no luck! May be I'll give it one more try when I hv my PC back............
