Root Working Wifi Tether

I've had the phone for two weeks now and tried to look for a successful means of wifi tethering. Original link[App-Mod/Source] WifiTether for JB TouchWiz Roms - xda-developers Here's the app that helped me accomplish my tethers: Wifi Tether-TrevE Mod
  1. Install apk
  2. Open app and go into its settings

  3. change device profile to "Generic ICS/JB (wlan0)"

  4. Change setup method to "Net-dNdc (master)"

  5. (optional) Enable Wifi-Encryption to setup SSID and Password (located under "Enable Wifi-Encryption")

  6. Enable either "Wifi-driver reload" or "Wifi-driver reload 2" ("Wifi-driver realod" worked for me)

  7. Lastly, Make sure "Mss clamping" and "Routing fix" are both ticked (located near the bottom of the settings)

  8. Viola, Wifi Tether

It does, I've used it to download minecraft updates and the skyrim mashup, must warn you though, after 4g cap, multiplayer isn't recommend
