Root Would like to transfer all my goodies to a new phone

So sorry if I missed it but I did a search...been real busy lately with work so maybe I missed it?
I am having trouble with my current phone (it's getting beat up badly) and I need a new one. I am rooted with the Viper 4G Rom currently and wondering how I can get a new phone and if I can transfer all of my settings and root easily to a new phone? Or if you can steer me in the right direction? Thansk so much guys! Adam

the only thing you can do is make a titanium backup which backs your apps and its data up and saves it to the sd card. you can then transfer the card to the new phone and do a tb restore of your apps.

as far as contacts go as long as they are backed up with google then when you sign in with the new phone, your contacts will get synced.

Root on your new phone will depend on what you get. Your settings will need to be redone from scratch. Nandroids are not transferrable from device to device, backup made on phone-1, phone-2 won't restore it, even if it's the same model.

Ocn, gave you the best option to save the most amount of info for transfer to a new device.

no nandroid backups are device specific. it will not work on any other phone unfortunately. there are ways to pull the data out of a nandroid backup and use that on another phone. but restoring a nandroid backup on a new phone will not work....sorry
