Hi,
I have just purchased a Samsung Spica (i5700) from a local vendor here in Australia. The handset came with Android 2.1. Unfortunately, this phone also contains 3 preinstalled Portuguese apps: "Futebol", "Sapo Mobile" and "Banca Sapo". "Banca Sapo" in particular is giving me a lot of trouble as it seems to automatically start to look for updates.
I don't want to root the handset, but I was wondering if I could prehaps re-install a proper english speaking version to get rid of these pre-installed apps.
Thank you.
Regards Brett S
