my DX has been freezing a lot lately and ive done a hard reset plenty of times and it still freezes

when it freezes its when im typing on my stock keyboard but not swype i hate swype so if i called verizon would they send me a DX2?

A factory reset might, but you'd have to set your phone up again, since you lose all the settings. Paid apps would automatically download from Market as long as you use the same Google acct.

Are you running stock rom (Gingerbread), rooted, custom rom?

im running stock ive factory reseted before and the phone was ok for like a couple weeks and ive done reboots through safe mode

i guess i could try but it will be a PITA

Maybe it's due to something you reinstalled after a "couple weeks".
