Would you ever own a mac?

I use a PowerBook G4 i got for free as a daily driver, and even with OS X Panther (10.3.9) everything works. Camino does an excellent job as a Safari alternative while not hogging what little RAM is on the computer, and VLC player works too, for online radio, YouTube appears to still support Flash Player 9, and Gmail, AF, and Facebook all work.

For the more serious stuff (games, video through Netflix, etc) i have my MacBook Pro.

Old computers, especially macs. They have a great life span.

ive had my macbook since 2007 and it still runs like it did out the box. When i was younger i had a Windows XP machine and it really s**ked. It would take forever to boot up, had viruses for no apparent reason, and opening apps was a hastle .
