Would you live in a former funeral home?

Being Japanese and very much exposed to J-horror (think Ringu etc), a funeral home is not very scary to me.

I did live in a haunted house in Australia though, and despite not believing in ghosts, it definitely felt wrong...
There were certain rooms in the house that I was just too scared to go into etc, and i could never figure out why.

I'm agnostic, but I don't see why you need to believe in God to believe in ghosts. I'm not saying I necessarily believe in ghosts because I've never seen one, but I know there are still plenty of things out there we are not even close to understanding. Isn't it a scientific fact that energy can never be destroyed, just changed into a different form? If so, what happens to the energy in our bodies when we die? With string theory, multiple universes, etc, there's all kinds of weird stuff out there. Who knows? Its like when people try to convince others that there is a God, and atheists try to convince people that there isn't. There's no way to know for sure, so people just go by personal experience or feeling. (admittedly a little different because people are indoctrinated into religion from a young age). Anyway, kind of forgot what my point was lol, just don't see what there is to argue about I guess.

What energy is in your body? Conservation of energy only applies in isolated systems anyway. Your body doesn't conserve energy anyway. If it did, you'd never have to eat.

having spent a large amount of time walking round empty creaky old buildings in the middle of the night and never seen anything ghostly i wouldn't have a problem living in a former funeral home..

i would only have a problem if the former residents complained :D

No I couldn't I just have too vivid an imagination and the thought of it scares the life out of me!!
I find it really interesting reading stuff like that but then just have nightmares.

We go to Florida and next visit my family all (except me) thought it would be a great idea to go to Halloween horror night at Universal. I am dreading it!!!! No matter how many times I tell myself it's people dressed up and no one can actually touch you or do anything, I am gonna be terrified. To be honest I don't think I'll end up going!

What is that you're scared of? What do you think you're risking?

scary things like funerals, dead people, zombies, etc.
risking? hmm... my life? lol XD
if i have a chance to choose, i wouldn't prefer living in a former funeral home.
