THere is a thread floating out there where a CNN poll was done and I'd like to get the results of all the users here on this one question...

"Would you purchase a android phone a second time?" (or third or fourth etc...)
 
Yes.

I will stick with Android till another combination ofOS and form factor that better suits my needs. With what is currently on the market, I don't that happening anytime soon.

I am currently enthralled with Android as an OS and the array of choices.

i'm never going back (maybe not even then)
 
I never really liked CNN when it came to objective reporting.. for a supposedly 'neutral' party they seem to have an agenda.
I have fond memories in recent weeks of the iPhone issue getting a small link at the bottom of the page and when Google stopped selling the Nexus one it had a huge image in the center of the page saying something to the effect of the Nexus one being a failure.

That, and every Apple article seems to be pro-Apple
So I am not surprised they are now running a 'will you buy Android again' poll someplace.
Probably with an Apple ad on the page.
 
this is a 3 day poll.... i would like to get a good sample. I know it's un-scientific, but I'd like to get a good number of people to answer it honestly. we won't be able to stop a dishonest fanboy, but hopefully any who see it, just don't vote at least unless they have owned 1. please spread the word on the poll...
 
Would definitely do it again, however my hope it that there is an awesome new webOS phone out by the time I can upgrade. There's a lot I miss about it. But for now, Android is the one to beat.
 
But of course.

I came from Win Mo and its like night and day for my needs, wants. Windows waited too long change their interface for me. I like what I see coming from the Win 7 phones, but it would take alot to pull me away from Android.
 
I got the droid x, my sister has the evo 4g, and and i talked my mom and wife into getting the original droid. Yes, i would and i think they would to.
 
This poll is no better then the CNN poll.... As its being done at an android forum.. I am pretty sure the CNN poll is very misleading or skewed in favor of Apple... but this is going to be just as bad.

That being said I voted yes. I'll stick with android phones till another OS really steps up.

how could you poll android users better than at a forum filled with people who use them..... the poll would likely balance the CNN poll, assuming they also polled this way for iphone. it is un scientific... stated at the top. but i'm still curious, aren't you? as to how this will shake out over 3 full days???

I am not that curious really cause I could have predicted the way it was/is turning out. I know you said it is not very scientific. We also don't know how the CNN poll was conducted tho... It is misleading and seemingly bias toward iPhone; But I was just saying its not really going to be a surprise how this is going to turn out. This poll is like going to LA and asking people what their favorite basketball team is.

Forums like this don't really consist of typical users either. A lot of people here are power users or people who are happy with the phone and want to see what else it can do. Most unhappy people will come here, complain in a thread or two, exchange the phone and be gone.

I had a Pre Plus... and ya the webOS is so nice.. its a shame the app store is so damn small and palm pre and pixi didn't save the company like they thought it would.
